Yes, this is how its supposed to look! I drew this picture of Lulu upside-down on purpose, as more of drawing exercise. Its supposed to make you let go of pre-concieved notions of what you're drawing, and just see lines and shapes. Or something like that. I forget.
These are my SM-anim series of drawings. Done from 2001-2002, they were drawn on Sailor Moon sketchpads while I worked at an anime store. I did a LOT of drawing while i was there! There was nothing better to do! HAHA!

hehe sometimes I draw my work upside down just for that very reason, that or start with different areas rather than just the head. It helps
